Passionate about his family, Ian enjoys working with clients and their families to help protect the wealth they have built during their working lives and structuring arrangements to ensure the wealth transfers to next generations as tax efficiently as possible. This work entails retirement, investment and tax planning with an emphasis on making plans clear and easy to understand. Ian works closely with solicitors and accountants to build robust arrangements, tailored to individual needs.
As part of my own intergenerational planning, my daughter Ayesha joined the Practice in September 2019 and is an integral part of managing the business in her role as Practice Manager. Her husband Graeme joined later in 2020 and is now a qualified St. James's Place Adviser having completed the SJP Financial Adviser Academy in 2023. Together, they are now looking to take the business forward offering our clients the same service I have provided for the past 20 years.
Hobbies include gardening and walking but most of Ian's spare time is taken up helping his daughters. Together with wife Rosie, Ian regularly helps to look after grandchildren Noah, Alivia, Archie and Hollie.
